Hey guys!
Sorry for the delay this summer. I’ve just been so caught up in R&R; it was much needed but I’m glad to be back to pushing out my theological studies.
I want to share with you guys some insight that I’ve gotten from two books I’ve read this year. Basically I want to reread them and share summaries, key points, and interesting facts/ideas.
Here they are if you want to read along with me:
Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist by Brant Pitre
then
College Apologetics by Fr. Anthony Alexander
Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist is a key to ancient little known facts of the roots of the eucharist in old testament scripture and ancient jewish tradition. It sheds a new light on the Eucharist, the role of Jesus Christ, and on his identity.
College Apologetics is essentially a walk through of apologetics that moves progressively from proofs in the existence of God, to the necessity of Religion, to the divinity of Christ, to the Church He established. It’s very thorough and air tight in it’s arguments.
They both contain invaluable information, which I hope to convey clearly.
Shoot me an email (lambssupper@gmail.com) or comment on the blog (lambs-supper.blogspot.com) with any questions along the way!
I’m excited to start!!
In Christ,
Luke
